Introduction
Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology (JUST) is a private university in Somalia. formed in 2011. As part of its mission to establish itself as a respected institution of higher learning with a global reputation for research and innovation, the university is launching a new MSc programme.
The MSc in Construction Project Management empowers students with the understanding of both the people-related and technical requirements necessary for successful project management, as well as their organizational strategic aspects, getting prepared them for a professional role in the management of construction projects.
The MSc in Construction Project Management enables theoretical and conceptual exploration of construction project management issues whilst also stressing the essential practical aspects such as project control mechanisms, resource management, budgeting and cost management, stakeholder management, contract management, IT applications and information management.
Programme Objective
Graduates of the Master of Construction Management program will be prepared to:
- PLO 1. Exhibit the ability to plan, organize, execute out, and apply the law as a construction manager.
- PLO 2. Evaluate the logistics supporting the construction systems to develop solutions to handle these challenges.
- PLO 3. Analyze how the relationships between contracting, the building trades, and the regulatory environment are influenced by the law, the economy, and society.
- PLO 4. Apply global, ethical, and sustainability perspectives to construction management knowledge.

Entry Requirements
- Applicants of this program should possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5
- All Applicants must pass the university English proficiency test or provide evidence for international English certification.

18 Months = 4 Semester, 1 Semester = 4 Months, (Last Semester = 6 Months).

Graduation Requirements
Candidates must fulfil the following requirement for graduation to qualify for the degree:
- Satisfactorily completed all the courses and the total number of credit hours specified for the program.
- Obtained a final CGPA of at least 2.67 on completion of the program.
- Paid all fees due to the university.
